A story of resilience 18 years in the making.

You Can't See My Strength

In 2008, Sarah sustained a skiing accident that broke her cranium and left her with a traumatic brain injury that changed her life. Now, 18 years later, she's ready to regain her independence - starting with getting back on the ski slopes.

Sarah Ellen Coons

Born in Indiana, Sarah moved to New Hampshire when she was five years old. She grew up playing softball, doing tricks on her bike, and skiing…until one day a tragic ski accident left her with a broken cranium. What the doctors didn’t know was the extent of the injury to her frontal lobe. The subsequent years of recovery, discovery, and healing changed her life in ways she could have never anticipated.

Resilience. Hope. Tenacity.

The Story

You Can't See My Strength is a story of resilience and hope in the face of tragedy and of how courage and tenacity can overcome any obstacle. Sarah's story is universal and intimate, galvanizing us all, no matter our battles, to persevere and find our courage.
